BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom University already underwent the Initial External Quality Audit ISO 9001: 2008. Audit which run from Monday officially closed the initial meeting in the External Quality Audit at 5th floor Meeting Room Bangkit Building, Wednesday (24/6).
Auditor of PT. Bureau Veritas Indonesia, Olrah Pattinama said, the most important of the Initial Audit documentation is readiness to be audited. “From some of the sampling that we take, Telkom University is ready to perform the Main Audit,” he said.
The auditor team provide some advices to Tel-U to further enhance the department which has been audited. For Faculty of Communication and Business implementation guardianship is correct operating procedures. It’s just based on the documentation received by the audit team found several trusts that are less than three meetings.
Then for Faculty of Applied Sciences, the implementation of student satisfaction survey to subjects already done. But the audit team found that there were some subjects that were not surveyed. Its need to be improved in order that the survey can work well for the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
The latter audit was The Directorate of Resources. The auditor team suggested that the procedure of purchase should refer to documents issued by Telkom Education Foundation, which YPT documents: 0306/00 / YPT / 2015. The document needs to be a reference and adopted into procurement procedures and the purchase of Telkom University.
Tel-U Rector, Prof. Dr. Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D. said the results of the Initial Audit which was conducted for three days was very encouraging for Telkom University. However Rector reminded these results should not make complacent as Initial Audit was still a sampling. “That became our main reference is the Main Audit which will be held next September by improving all the necessary preparations in accordance with the advices provided by the audit team at the moment,” he said.
